Job Description
We are looking for bright, smart and talented young girls to take up the exciting and rewarding career of Air Hostess in PIA. If you are meeting the following required specifications, you may be the one we are looking for:
Qualifications: 2nd Class / B Grade intermediate or equivalent from a recognized institute.
Marital Status: Single
Languages: Should have the ability to speak and write English / Urdu fluently. Knowledge of additional Regional/ Foreign Languages will be considered as an added qualification.
Height: Minimum 5 feet and 2 inches.
Weight: Proportionate to height as per PIA's standards.
Health: Perfect Eyesight, users of Spectacles and candidates with skin problems need not to apply. However, user of contact lenses may apply and decision wilt be taken by PIA Medical Board as per standard rules.
Maximum Age: 25 years as on 01-01-2011. General age relaxation of 05 years of upper age limit shall be available to all candidates as allowed by Government of Pakistan.
Application Procedure / Guidelines:
1. Applications are invited on the prescribed FORM available (free of cost) in PIA Recruitment & Placement Office at Karachi and in PIA Offices at other stations and also on PIA website: www.piac.com.pk/careers
2. Application along-with photocopies of Matric, other qualifications & experience, domicile, National Identity Card must be sent through reputed Courier Services. The application should reach the DEPUTY GENERAL MANAGER RECRUITMENT & PLACEMENT OFFICE, NEAR PIA TRAINING CENTRE, KARACHI AIRPORT, KARACHI-75200 NOT LATER THAN 01.02.2011.
3. Applicant must clearly mention the position applied for on the top left side of the envelope.
4. No TA/DA will be admissible for test / interview.
