VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
Pakistan Mineral Development Corporation (PMDC) is a state-owned enterprise under Ministry of Energy, Petroleum Division, Government of Pakistan. PMDC is responsible for the exploration, mining and marketing of various minerals.
PMDC invites applications for the following post on open contract/permanent basis.
Position: Associate (Electrical) - 01 Post
Qualification: Minimum B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical from a HEC recognized institution.
Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of relevant post-qualification experience in electrical operation, maintenance and troubleshooting, preferably at mining, industrial or heavy engineering sites.
Age: Maximum 47 years on the last date of application submission. Age relaxation shall be admissible as per applicable rules.
Preference: Candidates having domicile of Baluchistan will be preferred.
Place of Posting: PMDC Project / Mining Site, Balochistan
Key Job Responsibilities:
i. Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical equipment, machinery and installations at mining/project sites.
ii. Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults and breakdowns to minimize equipment downtime and ensure continuity of operations.
iii. Inspect, repair and maintain motors, control panels, power distribution systems, switchgear and other electrical installations.
iv. Assist in installation, testing and commissioning of electrical equipment and systems, as required.
v. Carry out routine inspections and scheduled maintenance and maintain proper records of electrical maintenance activities.
vi. Ensure compliance with electrical safety procedures, HSE requirements and applicable standards.
vii. Provide day-to-day electrical support for smooth and uninterrupted mining/project operations.
i. Departmental candidates are required to apply through proper channel.
ii. Open term contract at market-based negotiable salary shall be offered.
