Applications are invited for the following contract appointment in University Institute of Information Technology, Pir Mehr All Shah Arid Agriculture University, Rawalpindi.
System Administrator
(Pay upto Rs 40.000/-per month)
1. Applications complete in all respects on prescribed forms should reach the office of the Registrar, Pir Mehr All Shah-Arid Agriculture University Rawalpindi upto 11-7-09 during working hours.
2. Application form can be obtained from the Registrar office on payment of Rs 5007- by Bank Draft or cash.
3. The application form must accompany three copies of the following: Bio-data, attested copies of degrees/ certificates. National .Identity Card, domicile, recent photograph, copies of publications and experience certificate.
4. Applicants working in Government, Semi-Government, Autonomous Bodies should apply through proper channel. Advanced copies will not be entertained.
5. No. TA/DA will be paid for interview/joining. Incomplete applications or those received after due date shall not be entertained.
6. Only short listed candidates shall be called for interviews.
Registrar
Skills Required
Qualification:
BS (4 years Program) in Computer Science or Computer Engineering from NEC recognized reputable university.
OR
M.Sc in Computer Science or Electronics from a recognized reputable university.
Candidates having professional Certification like CCNA, CCNP or CCIE will be given preference.
Experience:
At least 6 years relevant expert level experience in:
a. Network Design and implementation in medium to large scale enterprises,
b. Hands on experience eof managing networks on Windows, Linux, Unix j
platforms.
c. Server management along with Network administration expertise
d. System support, installation and management of intranet, configuration
and management of different switching equipments, routers, protocols,
firewalls and IDSs.
e. Effective communication and project management skills are also
desirable.
